Welcome to the 2025 Danube Cup!
The annual competition is based on a partnership between 10 universities: the Johannes Kepler University Linz, the University of Passau, the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, the Corvinus University of Budapest, the University of Belgrade, the Vienna University of Economics and Business, the Regensburg University of Applied Sciences, the University of Regensburg, the Széchenyi István University in Györ and the University of Economics in Bratislava.

The Contest
The Danube Cup is a returning pitching competition for students from universities located along the Danube. The competition was launched in 2016 by two top Hungarian universities, the Corvinus University of Budapest and the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
The Mission
The Danube Cup's mission is to help start-up companies succeed internationally and, at the same time, bring highly motivated university start-ups from along the Danube together. The Corvinus University Budapest will be organizing this year's event.
What can you expect?
Join the Danube Cup competition and grow your international connections. Meet entrepreneurs, investors, along with incubator and accelerator program leaders. In addition to a cash prize, you will get feedback by international experts.
Are you curious? Check if your start-up company meets the criteria:
- Your team should have a validated business concept.
- Your team should consist of minimum 2 to 5 people, one of whom is enrolled at the JKU.
- You are in the pre-seed, or the pre-incubator stage.
